i applied to work at this online company, and i'll be honest, even with it's flexible requirements, i was nervous to apply. i don't quite know how to explain the gap in my resume, beyond having to care for my mom (which i was warned never to bring up during interviews). but the interview process was fairly quick and easy, the onboarding even easier.
i think the best part is that it doesn't require much beyond creativity in writing. i'm in desperate need of something challenging, to wake up my brain after years off inactivity. don't get me wrong, i'll still be on the lookout for other opportunities - the company i work for seems to have mixed reviews depending on who works there. but at least i can breathe a sigh of relief now.
